Dive into Passion and Stir Up the Debate!

Ready to mix high-energy fun with top-tier wine? It's the third Contentious Comedy Debate! Produced in collaboration with the team from the Canberra Comedy Festival, we are matching sharp wits with some mouth watering food and wine for your very fine palate. Get ready for these debaters to slap each other silly with a scintillating turn of phrase as they debate:

Everyone deserves a happy ending!

It is a superb lineup. We have performers who have toured shows to Melbourne and Sydney festivals, RAW comedy finalists and a writer, actor and member of the cast of "Thank God You Are Here".

• Moderator: Tom Gibson
• Affirmative: Tanya Losanno (Team Captain), Suma Iyer & Chris Marlton
• Negative: Carlo Ritchie ( Team Captain), Sarah Stewart & Caitlin Maggs

There are two shows. A 'show only' priced event at 6pm and a show plus two-course dinner at 7:30pm. Guests will be seated on long tables for both shows giving the room a festive atmosphere as you show your support for the affirmative and the negative with raucous laughter and clinking of glasses.

6PM - 7PM (SHOW ONLY)
Arrive early but at least before 5:30 pm for a perfect pre-show warm-up. You can get the party started by ordering delicious platters and drinks (no food service during the show). You can stick around in the courtyard bar after the show to continue on the revelry.

7:30PM - 9:45PM (SHOW & DINNER) 
Looking to go all out? Our 7:30 pm session is your ticket to indulgence. Arrive early and enjoy a drink in the courtyard bar. Then enjoy a fabulous two-course dinner while getting your fill of an entertaining debate. 

Here’s what’s on the menu

Your choice of one of three mains (pick when you book):

• Sesame-dressed risotto with asparagus, peas, Gruyère cheese, and crispy fried leek.
• Pan-fried Barramundi fillet with yuzu miso beurre blanc, specks, and kohlrabi.
• 250g rump steak with Contentious Character Premium Merlot jus and seasonal grilled veggies.

To cap off your evening we are offering a decadent dessert: our trio chocolate fondue featuring strawberries, bananas, waffles and marshmallows. Now that's a happy ending!
